My research focuses on developing NLP methods for written and spoken language, grounded in linguistic theory.
I am especially interested in corpus-based analysis and in comparing LLM-generated output with human language. In my work on written data, I have applied NLP methods such as DeepMet to investigate metaphor use and its role in shaping social perspectives on AI and environmental issues.
In spoken language research, I work on under-resourced languages such as Vietnamese, with a focus on ASR output analysis, prosody, and interactional phenomena.
